The Zimbabwe Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Services (ZAKIS) project launched Ward Information Centres in Insiza and Matobo districts in Matabeleland South province. The ward information centres equipped with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) based platforms are designed to meet the extension and information needs of farmers. 

Vangelis Haritatos, Deputy Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development officially launched the facilities.
